Adele - Rumour Has it yang merupakan rilisan ke-4 dalam album 21nya (di Amerika Serikat) Adele ini diciptakan oleh Adele beserta dengan seorang lagi yaitu Ryan Tedder. Walaupun dari judul lagunya yang ada "Rumour" akan tetapi inspirasi dari Adele sama sekali bukan dari Media melainkan mengenai teman-temannya yang sangat mempercayai rumor/gosip yang beredar mengenai diri mereka. Lagu ini dirilis setelah Rolling in the Deep - Set fire to the Rain - Someone Like You.
Secara umum, lagu Adele - Rumour Has It ini menampilkan jenis musik yang berciri khas blues, pop, jazz serta soul dengan diiringi dengan piano. Di dalam lagu ini pula, Adele mampu menunjukan kualitas olah vokalnya yang sungguh menarik untuk didengar sehingga membuat lagu ini juga sangat mudah untuk dipahami.
Menurut Adele, lirik lagu Rumour Has it ini bersama dengan Rolling in The Deep adalah berlawanan dengan lirik lagunya Someone Like You, yang baru ditulis setelah kecapean menulis Rumour Has It dan Rolling in The Deep. Lagu ini sempat dikabarkan akan dirilis sebagai single ketiga, akan tetapi dibatalkan karena diganti dengan Set Fire to The Rain sebagai single ketiganya.
